The Patient Services Specialist (PSS I) is an administrative role in a healthcare setting, responsible for overseeing the front desk operations and ensuring smooth and professional experience for patients, staff, and visitors. This role blends administrative and patient service duties, along with support to the clinical staff. Requirements Front Desk Operations Greet and check in patients Schedule and confirm appointments Answer phones and respond to inquiries Collect co-pays and verify insurance Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures Serve as the first point of contact for patient complaints Administrative Tasks Maintain patient records (physical and electronic) Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy standards Reporting & Coordination Assist with billing questions and insurance verification Collaborate with clinic or practice manager Clinical Support Taking vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.) Assisting providers during exams or procedures WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
