Job Description Harborview Medical Center- – Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist Lead. WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays- Fridays, 15:00-23:30 Evening Shift No Telework POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Only Level I trauma and burn center in the region Close proximity to public transportation Harborview ranks among the nation's top hospitals in rehabilitation care, neurology, neurosurgery and orthopedics Convenient location Close proximity to public transportation PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff, and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels. Participate in interviewing applicants Train and orient new employees and/or volunteers to department Provide feedback to supervisor for employee performance evaluations, corrective action plans and training plans Review and correct the work performed by others for compliance with established procedures Schedule emergency shift assignments Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2, and 3.
