Available Job Types: Supplemental or Per Diem – no guaranteed hours Available Shifts: Variable including the availability to work Evening and/or Night Patient Services Specialist - Patient Access at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Consistently provides superior customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and PHS staff, including during periods of high patient volumes or stressful situations. Obtains accurate and complete information from patients who are ill, anxious or non-English speaking. Performs independently while multitasking, problem solving, and exercising good time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
