Title: Patient Transport Aide Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Transportation Services Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Provides support services to hospital departments for patient transport; picks up and delivers medical records, supplies, medications, blood, and blood products throughout the hospital; escorts patients to hospital departments when requested; provides assistance with patient arrival and departures when required. Starting hourly rate for the Patient Transport Aide is $17.37 per hour which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay reflects the potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have Patient care experience, hospital experience and previous patient transport experience. Responsibilities

Provides support services to hospital departments for patient transport and delivers medical records, supplies, medications, and blood products throughout the hospital. Escorts patients to hospital departments and assists with patient arrivals and departures when required.
