POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide high-quality on-road clinical care for hospital transfers across the ACT region. Assess patient conditions, administer treatment, and ensure safe transport of patients while maintaining documentation and clinical standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ALS certification and advanced clinical skills
Experience in state/private ambulance services (Desirable)
Excellent decision-making in emergency situations
Physical fitness for patient handling
Police Check, Working with Children Check, valid driver’s license

QUALIFICATIONS

Paramedic,
Dual Degree Nurse/Paramedic
Ambulance Officer
Student (Paramedic, Nursing/Paramedicine dual degree)
Registration or eligibility with AHPRA

• Respond promptly and prioritise patient needs
• Transport patients safely while monitoring care
• Administer treatment per protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and professionals
• Maintain professional development and clinical readiness
