We are seeking a casual Patient Transport Officer (PTO) to operate from Wangaratta Branch.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working from Monday to Friday between 8.00am - 8.00pm on 8 hour shifts, Patient Transport Officers provide effective and efficient care and transport of non-emergency pre and post hospital patients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to all cases in a timely manner
  • Provide appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Complete Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner
  • Provide effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives
