Responsibilities:

  • The Patient Transporter is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients within the healthcare facility.
  • This includes moving patients to and from various departments such as radiology, surgery, and patient rooms while ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • The transporter also assists with equipment transport and maintains communication with nursing staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent if 18 or older.
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely, often requiring physical exertion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
