We are searching for a Patient Transporter -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide the following services in a timely, efficient, safe, friendly, and enthusiastic manner:  patient transportation services, patient escort dispatch relief services, delivery of patient-related equipment, lab specimens, medications, and patient equipment cleaning. Think you’ve got what it takes Job Duties & Responsibilities •    Provides patient transportation/escort services. Transports/escorts patients promptly to and from patient rooms and patient care service areas utilizing proper patient transportation equipment within the established time frame, as indicated on the automated dispatch system (TeleTracking) and observed by the manager •    Provides specimen and medication delivery. Transports Pathology and Blood Bank specimens within the designated time frame •    Delivers/retrieves patient-related equipment. Delivers/retrieves patient-related equipment as dispatched within the established time frame •    Provides a high level of customer service. Consistently displays a professional demeanor, as observed by guests, staff, and manager •    Demonstrates ownership for responsibilities in assigned areas and other designated areas. Identifies and appropriately resolves maintenance deficiencies in the assigned area to maintain space quality through the improvement of efficiency, outcomes, and customer service •    Demonstrates accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic, teamwork, and effective communication skills As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
