JOB SUMMARY

The Patriot Depot Test Equipment (DTE) Technician is a key role dedicated to maintaining and operating advanced test consoles essential for the sustainment of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems. This position involves the operation and upkeep of specialized equipment, including PAT244M, PAT244+, Cooler Liquid Electron Tube (CLET), and Transmitter Pumping Unit (TPU) test stations, to ensure their reliable performance. The technician is responsible for tracking and diagnosing malfunctions in radar cooling equipment and radar transmitter group electronic components using these test consoles. Scheduled preventive maintenance tasks are conducted to optimize the functionality and longevity of the equipment.
In addition to maintenance and diagnostics, the technician prepares and submits comprehensive maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs) to document findings and corrective actions. This role also requires the execution of other related tasks within the field of electronic systems maintenance. Contributing to on-the-job training (OJT) efforts, the technician supports skill development and knowledge sharing within the team. By performing these critical responsibilities, the Patriot Depot Test Equipment (DTE) Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of RSADF systems. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s defense infrastructure.
This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

• A university degree in electronics or STEM or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing Depot Test Equipment (DTE).
• Able to read technical references and engineering documents.
• Full knowledge of measuring devices and methods of using them to diagnose faults.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate and maintain test consoles (PAT 244M/PAT244+/ Cooler Liquid Electron Tube

(CLET)-Transmitter Pumping Unit (TPU) Test Station.

• Track and diagnose radar cooling equipment malfunctions using test consoles (CLET/TPU) Test Station.
• Track and diagnose malfunctions of the Patriot radar transmitter group electronic parts using

test consoles (PAT244M/PAT244+).

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance work for test consoles.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs).
• Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed
• Perform other required work in the same field.
