Description
Love to sew? Got an eye for detail and a flair for creativity? We are on the lookout for experienced Pattern Makers to help bring the magic to life across Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint! Whether you are looking for consistent part-time hours or casual flexibility, this could be your perfect fit. Why you’ll love it here: • Enjoy free entry to all our parks (hello, perks!) • Score discounts on food, retail and more • Free onsite parking and uniform provided • Access to Perkbox – with hundreds of dollars in savings on everyday purchases • Join a fun, close-knit creative team, where no two days are ever the same! What’s the gig? Working onsite and reporting to our Operations Supervisor (Laundry/Costumes), you will create and alter costumes, uniforms, curtains, linen and more – including our iconic character costumes. It’s hands-on, detail-oriented work that helps keep the Dreamworld magic alive for over a million guests a year. You’ll also: • Monitor stock levels and help with ordering materials • Assist with costume repairs, laundering, and distribution • Maintain sewing equipment and work safely with chemicals as required • Help drive continuous improvement and share daily updates with the team What we are looking for: Ideally, you have got around 5 years’ experience in sewing, pattern making and costume work, but if you’ve got less and plenty of talent – we still want to hear from you! You will need strong attention to detail, a calm approach under pressure, and a current QLD driver’s licence (we will occasionally need you to zip around in a company vehicle). Our part-time roles guarantee a minimum of 12 hours a week, and you will need to be flexible to work rostered shifts between 5:00am and 6:00pm, including weekends. Ready to stitch yourself into the Dreamworld story? Apply online now! At Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint, we’re committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment where everyone – guests and team members alike – feel valued and respected. We celebrate the cultural and personal differences of our team, representative of the diverse community in which we operate. By drawing on the unique talents and contributions of each individual, we create unforgettable memories for our guests.
