Pattern Technologist (Based at Ayathi,Biyagama) Over the last three and a half decades - MAS Intimates has differentiated itself in the global fashion industry through its innovation mindset, strong technical competency, and sustainability initiative. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to join the Intimates-MDS team as a Pattern technologist. This role would require you to hold the ownership of the technical aspects of the product by adhering to the critical path to achieve customer expectation & give leadership to a team of pattern techs to fulfil their job responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure patterns are created in alignment with the design intent and according to the pattern creation process upon receipt of the Tech pack. Timely communication with the stakeholders for technical clarification if required. Verify accuracy of patterns against samples whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues. Make sure customer comments are accurately incorporated at each cycle to achieve the expected fit requirements. Ensure patterns are graded accurately according to the customer specifications. Ensure all samples meet the given specifications and standards prior to fitting and dispatching them to the Customer along with the relevant documents. Participate for the fit sessions and adhere to the fit protocols. Facilitate costing, Sampling and ordering processes by providing accurate patterns and other relevant document in a timely manner. Contribute to factory engagement points by providing accurate product related information and timely follow up on agreed actions. Coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech packs by liaising with relevant teams; on time and accurate document submission to the production. Adhere to critical path at each gate during product development process. Facilitate on the job training for subordinate pattern techs. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Diploma in Textile & Clothing B.Sc Engineering textile & Clothing degree will be an added advantage Minimum 02 years of experience in the similar capacity Experience in Gerber software
Responsibilities
