From field assessments and investigations to design, training, technical support and post-construction evaluation, you will focus every aspect of completing successful pavement projects. This role can be based in Penrose, Auckland or Burnside, Christchurch In addition to the above you will: Deliver fit-for-purpose design solutions across diverse projects Continuously improve our maintenance and construction practices Drive tendering processes, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions Carry out field inspections to assess pavement integrity and performance Provide construction phase support, ensuring technical excellence Promote our team’s capability both internally and externally Be a champion of safety, always leading with a "Living Safely" mindset At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us. We’re looking for someone with: Tertiary qualification in engineering (or related discipline) Background in pavement materials, construction and/or maintenance Solid understanding of pavement engineering principles Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng NZ), or working toward being chartered Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
