DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an experienced and hardworking Paver Operator for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating a paver
  • Strong understanding of paving techniques, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and follow plans, grades, and project specifications.
  • MUST possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate paving equipment on a variety of projects.
  • Monitor paver operation to ensure consistent quality, depth, and alignment.
  • Work closely with the paving crew, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other tasks on the paving crew as needed to support project progress.
