Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family The Opportunity Due to growth in the regional paving business, we are looking for an experienced Paving Manager to lead a Paving business based at Mt Wellington, Auckland. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the paving operations, from project planning and execution to team management and client liaison, you will be instrumental in driving success and exceeding expectations With your strong experience within the Civil infrastructure sector, you will lead the successful and profitable paving operation that supports the great work we do across our roading projects for the Auckland Region. You will play a pivot role in meeting key safety, quality and service objectives and return on investment to ensure we uphold our market leading position. In addition to the above you will: Lead and mentor a team of paving specialists, providing guidance and support to maximize performance and productivity Collaborate with project managers and other department heads to ensure seamless integration of paving activities into overall contract plans. Oversee the planning and execution of paving jobs, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards Manage resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize outcomes and minimize costs Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the paving operation You will ensure the success running of your department by delivering strong business outcomes within Fulton Hogan. We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience in a leadership role within the civil engineering or construction industry, with specific expertise in paving operations Strong technical knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and equipment, coupled with a commitment to quality and excellence Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders Sound decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and strategic planning Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
