We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Paylocity Subject Matter Expert (SME) Analyst to lead the optimization and ongoing support of our Paylocity platform across a multi-site manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations, ensuring the system is configured to meet compliance standards, streamline workflows, and enhance the employee experience.
System Ownership & Optimization
- Serve as the internal SME for all Paylocity modules including HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Performance.
- Lead system configuration, upgrades, and enhancements to align with evolving business needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to Paylocity support as needed.
Project Management & Implementation
- Manage Paylocity-related projects such as new module rollouts, integrations, and data migrations.
- Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, training guides, and configuration records.
- Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and union-specific labor regulations.
Training & Support
- Train HR team members, managers, and employees on system functionality and best practices.
- Provide Tier 2 support for Paylocity-related inquiries and resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for turnover, headcount, labor cost, and compliance metrics.
- Support leadership with data-driven insights to inform workforce planning and operational decisions.
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Paylocity in an HRIS or HR Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workforce dynamics including shift scheduling, union rules, and multi-state compliance.
- Proficiency in Excel, report writing, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with systems integration.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
