We are looking for a Paymaster cum General Cashier who will play a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll administration and efficient cash management in line with IHG financial policies and procedures. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be: Preparing, processing, and reconciling monthly payroll for all colleagues in compliance with local labor laws and IHG standards. Maintaining payroll records, employee files, and ensuring the confidentiality of salary information. Managing advances, deductions, overtime, and other payroll adjustments. Acting as the hotel’s General Cashier, ensuring accurate daily cash counts and reconciliations. Collecting, verifying, and depositing daily cash takings from all outlets. Issuing petty cash reimbursements and maintaining proper documentation. Preparing daily cashier summary reports and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Supporting the month-end closing with payroll and cashiering reports. Coordinating with HR and Finance teams regarding payroll-related queries and resolving discrepancies. Assisting with audits and ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies. What we need from you: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in payroll and cashiering within a 4/5-star hotel or similar industry. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, local labor laws, and financial procedures. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/payroll systems. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Fluent in the English language.
