Job Overview Responsible for timely and accurate payroll while consistently maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.  At InterContinental Hotels & Resorts®we want our internal and external guests to feel special, cosmopolitan and In the Know which means we need you to: * Be charming by being approachable, having confidence and showing respect. * Stay in the moment by understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, being attentive and taking ownership of getting things done. * Make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that make people feel special.   Duties and Responsibilities Payroll & Other Accounting Duties * Complete weekly payroll before deadline, including wages, tips, extra pay, paid time off and so on. * Verify weekly Food & Beverage tips and Front Office porterage are correct based on Micros and Opera reports * Assist in weekly paycheck distributions to department heads. * Work closely with People & Culture in employee benefits reconciliations. * Work closely with department heads with payroll questions and concerns. * Be able to work with flexible hours to meet payroll and/or month-end deadlines. * Be able to take on ad hoc projects from Finance leaders and be flexible with other Accounting tasks.  * Be a team player and maintain good working relationships with the team.   Qualifications and Requirements * Hotel Accounting or Payroll experiences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are preferred.  * Professional and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. * Problem solving and analytical skills are required.  * Be able to work independently and take ownership of problem-solving process. * Be flexible with working hours to meet accounting deadlines. * Be able to carry or lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.  What You’ll Gain (Benefits & compensation) * The salary Range for this role is $36.00 - $38.00 per hour. * Complimentary employee meals * Complimentary dry cleaning (business attire) * IHG employee & friends/family discount program * Professional development and growth opportunities * A culture that values your input, promotes your development, and empowers you to Inspire Incredible.   At IHG, we’ve made a promise.
