As the payment analyst for child care service providers within our Voucher Program, this role plays a vital part in ensuring children receive consistent, quality care and that providers are supported for the essential work they do every day. What you’ll be doing Reviewing, calculating, and processing provider payments from attendance records and provider reimbursement requests; Assisting the program supervisor and program manager with tasks and reports in preparation for disbursement; Assisting parents and providers with inquiries; Performing support functions, such as keyboarding, filing, mailing, data entry, and communicating with clients via email and telephone; Assisting the program supervisor and program manager with training and mentoring new payment analysts; Maintaining accurate provider payment projections; Reading and implementing all organization and program policies and procedures; Accurately completing all assigned paperwork and documentation on a timely basis according to organization policies and procedures; Assisting the directors and management team; Attending training as required; Performing other duties as assigned. What you bring to the table Two years of basic bookkeeping or accounting experience; Ability to work well with people, with a sensitivity to the needs of children and families; Accurate keyboarding and data entry; Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; Ability to effectively communicate effectively in written and oral English; A California driver’s license, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance; Associate’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred) Command of Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese (preferred). Salary $24.64 - $36.67 per hour (candidates should anticipate receiving an offer within the first quartile of the salary range).
