QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or financial operations (fintech or payments experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with payment rails (ACH, RTP, card networks, EFT, Interac)
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, AP/AR cycles, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (such as advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power query, Error Checking & Data Analysis Tools, Macros and/or VBA).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and reconciliation tools preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to interact with clients and internal teams effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as accomplish work assignments under minimal supervision and tight schedules.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.

  • Knowledge of both the Canadian and US payments space.
  • Experience with Power BI.
