JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities

-Receive and process mail or electronic payments from patients, carriers, or payers. Post payments, debits, and adjustments accurately to patient accounts, Balance and file payment batches daily.
- Review and process medical records for accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
- Perform medical billing tasks, including submitting claims to insurance companies and following up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation.
- Conduct medical collections as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze data related to Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) for accurate reimbursement.
