Description
Payments are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring money moves safely, securely, and efficiently for our customers.  As payment processes become increasingly specialised, a proactive approach is essential to safeguarding both members and services. Prioritising quality control ensures emerging threats are addressed effectively, minimising Nationwide’s exposure to operational losses while maintaining the integrity and reputation of the business.    As a Payment Processing Senior Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and compliance of our operational processes. You’ll review customer interactions, assess adherence to regulatory and internal standards and provide constructive feedback to improve service quality and mitigate risk. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities across our operational teams enabling you to provide insightful analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.   Our Quality Control team is central to maintaining high standards across the business. Working alongside our operational teams and adapting to evolving risks and regulatory requirements, you will be tasked with upholding excellence in customer service and operational integrity.    If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about improving processes and outcomes then this could be the role for you.   We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.   This is a 12 month secondment opportunity.   At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here. [https://nationwide-jobs.co.uk/life-at-nationwide/rewarding-you]  Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.   If you’re a colleague on long term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.
