As part of our Payments Operations team, you’ll play a key role in risk assessment, compliance, and underwriting by reviewing sub-merchant applications for legal and policy adherence. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth onboarding and account maintenance experience for our merchants, while minimizing disruptions to their business and cash flow. You’ll oversee essential workflows, support cross-functional collaboration, and serve as a first point of contact for Customer Support, Launch, and Sales teams. What you’ll be doing: Act as the primary point of contact for merchants regarding Lightspeed Payments services. Coordinate internally across teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution. Provide clear, timely updates to all stakeholders on case status and outcomes. Handle and resolve payment escalations across regions and products efficiently. Prioritise and reroute cases internally when needed to minimise business and cash flow disruption. Process and verify bank account changes and conduct due diligence for legal entity updates. Ensure accuracy and compliance with payment service provider (PSP) requirements and coordinate implementation of updates. Develop and implement remediation plans for impacted merchants. What you need to bring: We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following: Previous experience in FinTech, Lending or within the Banking industry. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English. Excellent credit and risk acumen, good knowledge of risk and underwriting analysis. Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving.
