The Payments Specialist must navigate intricate regulatory environments, evolving payment technologies, and customer-centric innovation while collaborating across departments and external stakeholders.

ANALYTICAL AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:

• Strong analytical skills to assess payment workflows and identify improvement areas.
• Proactive approach to solving complex payment-related challenges.
• Capacity to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions
• Ability to identify root causes of technical debt and provide actionable insights to address them

REGULATORY KNOWLEDGE:

• Familiarity with relevant European payment regulations, including but not limited to PSD2 and AML directives.
• Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks in financial services.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payments, banking, or financial technology preferably in financial sector or banks more specifically
• Relevant certifications are a plus
