Your mission

As a Payments Architect, you combine strategic consulting with in-depth technological expertise. You develop modern payment architectures for banks, central banks, and financial service providers, and support their transformation to scalable, cloud-native, and future-proof platforms. You work closely with enterprise architects, business units, and technology decision-makers, contributing to the successful implementation of innovative payment solutions.

You translate complex requirements into technical guidelines. You analyze business, regulatory, and technological requirements in payment transactions and, together with clients, derive robust requirements for target architectures and IT landscapes.
You develop future-proof payment architectures. You design modern solution architectures for payment platforms and concretize them through architecture diagrams, API designs, and integration concepts for complex banking environments.
You evaluate technology and architecture decisions. You compare solution options, analyze the impact on existing system landscapes, and create sound decision-making bases for strategic technology investments.
You are shaping the payment landscape of tomorrow. You are working on innovative solutions related to the Digital Euro, instant payments, open finance, wallet solutions like EPI/Wero, and AI-powered payment processes.
You accompany the architecture process through to implementation. Together with development teams, you ensure that architectural decisions are successfully implemented and continuously develop the target architecture based on practical experience.
You take on responsibility and actively contribute. You work on challenging transformation projects and gradually develop your own areas of responsibility within our international payments community.
