As a Payments Safeguarding Lead VP, you’ll work directly with Brookfield to help grow and transform the bank’s payment acceptance business. You will lead the design and execution of processes that safeguard client funds within the payments acceptance business. You’ll be expected to grow and transform Barclays’ payment acceptance business, ensuring safeguarding activities are fully compliant with regulatory expectations and are commercially sound.
Your understanding of relevant regulations will be key as you apply them across the business, delivering efficient, well-controlled solutions that protect client interests. You’ll actively monitor the market environment to identify opportunities and ensure the bank remains competitive while maintaining regulatory alignment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where your ability to balance regulatory compliance with commercial outcomes will be central to shaping the future of Barclays’ payments capability.
To be considered for this role you will have a holistic knowledge of payment institutes and operating model with commercial acumen. You will have an understanding of client safeguarding and experience working with both internal and external senior stakeholders.
