Payments Solution Architect - API, SEPA Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Good experience with high level solution architecture and experience preparing and presenting at key Architecture forums, ie ARB and TDA

- EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTING HIGH LEVEL DESIGNS - BUT KEEPING THE DETAIL TO AN APPROPRIATE HIGH LEVEL SO IT CAN BE UNDERSTOOD BY ALL STAKEHOLDERS, TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL ALIKE

• Risk and Architecture Governance
• Strong Stakeholder Management competency
• Architect for UK Faster Payments so knowledge/experience of this would be great but would also need some experience of API high level design for future phase.
  A Payment (not Cards) Solutions Architect that would sit in technology. The role would provide solutions for various aspects of bank account to bank account payments going via traditional clears like SEPA and modern P2P schemes. This role is NOT for card transactions (debit or credit).
  The key responsibilities are - ü Own end to end high level design ü Work closely with business and technology teams to come up with optimal solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy ü Create solution options and present to business and technology stakeholders and formal governance/review boards ü Must be a quick learner and hit the ground running ü Build relations with business, software development, Security, enterprise architecture and other teams
  Key skills and experience ü Have high level/conceptual understanding from architecture perspective of broad range of technologies like API, Public Cloud, DB, Mobile App, Mainframe, and Security ü Prior experience as Payment Solutions Architect. Experience of P2P or SEPA scheme would be advantageous ü Demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders like business, operations, security, technology teams. ü Work closely with business and technology teams to come up with optimal solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy
  Would need occasional travel to office
