We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring that payroll and accounting processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant legislation, while supporting the Group.

Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with employment standards and tax legislation.
  • Manage payroll adjustments, terminations, new hires, benefits, and year-end reconciliations (T4, ROEs, etc.).
  • Oversee payroll reporting and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries.

Accounting Support

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management.
  • Complete regular bank reconciliations including coding of bank transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support monthly and year-end close processes with reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Perform regular inter-company reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of inter-company transactions and balances.
  • Record monthly interest on outstanding loans using amortization schedules, as well as maintain and create schedules as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records in alignment with company policies and standards.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to government regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support internal/external audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll and accounting processes.
