ABOUT US

Located in Clairmont, Alberta, Timber Pro Logging Ltd was established in 2006 as a log harvesting operation in the Grande Prairie forest management area. We expanded in 2017 to include log hauling and earthworks divisions. We’ve built a reputation on high quality work standards as well as safe and fair business practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration
o Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts payable administration
o Enrolment in or completion of the Payroll Compliance Certificate is preferred
o Proficiency in Sage50 accounting and Microsoft Office products
o Experience with Logger’s Edge is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Payroll/Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our biweekly payroll and accounts payable transactions. You will be responsible for maintaining payroll records, processing payments to employees and vendors, reconciling accounts, and providing support to our finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Process payroll accurately and on time
o Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
o Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing and reconciliations.
o Communicate effectively with employees and vendors regarding payment-related inquiries.
o Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
o Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
o Generate reports and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
o Discretion in handling confidential information
