The Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our People & Culture team. This part-time role is perfect for someone with a strong background in payroll operations who thrives in a collaborative and values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for designated business units.
  • Maintain and update employee records in payroll systems (Micropay, Humanforce, Bob, Carelink+).
  • Verify timesheets, leave forms, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll-related payments including superannuation, PAYG, and salary packaging.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding pay and entitlements.
  • Support internal audits and contribute to process improvements.
  • Assist with HR system administration and data integrity.
  • Provide backup support for Payroll Coordinator and People Systems Analyst.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in payroll administration or support.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and entitlements.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Micropay) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
