JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing and management within our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Quickbooks Online Payroll, construction company payroll, and complicated certified payroll with pay rate adjustments and multiple wage categories, and apprentice requirement reporting. Experience with WH347 forms required. Your priority will be ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations pertaining to the Inflation Reduction Act and Davis Bacon while maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial for supporting our financial operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of payroll functions.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in payroll management systems such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Time, LCP Tracker, and SkillSmart.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation.
  • Experience with financial concepts related to corporate accounting and governmental accounting.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration processes.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in financial software applications.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with HR and other departments.
