You’ll be involved in onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining accurate master data, managing pay-related queries, and understanding collective agreements relevant to your payroll areas. Prior payroll experience in a high-volume environment is essential.   Key aspects of the role   Managing payroll for approximately 800 employees Supporting other payroll types as needed and collaborating with team members across department Ensuring payroll compliance with all legislative requirements Delivering timely, accurate payroll with a focus on reducing errors, overpayments, and off-cycle payments Actively resolving payroll queries and reducing volume in the ticketing system Conducting audits to enhance time entry accuracy and payroll quality.   This position requires someone who is organized, can work autonomously, and is confident stepping up when needed.   ABOUT YOU   To success in this role, you’ll bring hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll within a medium to large organization.
