Description
This is a 3 month fixed term contract We are easyJet – a FTSE-100 listed, £multi-billion low-cost airline that serves tens of millions of customers every single year. If you’re reading this, you have probably already been an easyJet customer, and you’ll know that there is no more iconic (or Orange!) travel brand in Europe. We fly more than 1,207 routes, connecting 38 countries across Europe, and employ more than 19,000 colleagues. We’re on a mission to make low-cost travel easy – and whatever your role here, you’ll connect millions of people to what they love using Europe’s best airline network, great value fares, and friendly service. What You’ll Be Doing: easyJet is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team for a 3 month fixed term contract. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day payroll processes for France, ensuring compliance with local legislation and liaising with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include supporting Payroll Specialists and the Payroll Lead in their daily activities, preparing EIB files for upload into Workday, and managing general payroll administration tasks, such as addressing queries through our case management system. You will play a crucial role in driving consistency and quality across all countries, ensuring that all transactions are completed with pace and accuracy in line with the Payroll Timetable. As a Payroll Administrator, you will self-manage your workload to adhere to the agreed Payroll Calendar, taking ownership of end-to-end processes in alignment with country legislation and compliance. You will also be responsible for accurately reporting and peer-checking all manual administration within the payroll schedule, as well as assisting in the checking and correction of payroll during the trial stage. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll function while enhancing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. If you are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we would love to hear from you! What You’ll Bring to the Role: As a Payroll Administrator at easyJet, you will bring essential skills for managing payroll duties, including training in payroll processes and knowledge of French payroll legislation. You will handle provident cases and indemnities, communicate confidently with HR stakeholders and team members, and thrive in a busy office environment. With strong numeracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT tools like Workday and Office, you will interact with employees professionally and empathetically. Your ability to collaborate and build relationships across the easyJet network, along with essential English and French language skills, will enhance the effectiveness of the payroll function. Location & Hours of Work This full-time role will be based in Charles de Gaulles and will be 35 hours per week. You will benefit from 12 additional leave days as per the FR law (RTT) Pro rata’d due to the length of the contract.
