Description

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to work in our accountancy practice based in South Somerset.
This position would be full-time (37.5 hours) with the potential to hybrid work after the initial training period.
The key responsibilities will include:
· Processing client payroll information on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis
· Processing all payroll and submitting RTI reports to HMRC
· Maintaining employee information
· Issuing employee payslips and a breakdown summary to each client
· Administering pension uploads to client pension schemes
· Responding to enquires in a timely manner
· Ensuring all statutory filing deadlines are met
· Completing year end procedures
Experience/Skills:
· Experience working in an office environment
· Strong numerical aptitude
· Excellent word and outlook skills, intermediate excel skills
· Good computer literacy skills
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Excellent communication, both verbally and written
· Accurate and attention to detail
· Work flexibly and to use your own initiative
· Be able to work in a team
· Willingness to learn quickly
· At least one year’s experience is desirable but not essential
