Description

Highbury Asset Management has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator. Highbury Asset Management provides executive management, finance and administrative services for a diverse portfolio of retail operations, real estate investments, and supporting services across Southern Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island. Our business is a blend of accounting, management, and innovative problem-solving.
Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will oversee the payroll function and execute several bi weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
Location: Victoria, BC (On-Site)
Salary Range: $60,000 - $67,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate or negotiable

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and off cycle payrolls.
  • Process and review annual tax slips and summaries (T4, T4A, T2200).
  • Process extended health benefits, group RRSP administration, WCB and EHT returns.
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvements to payroll process and controls.
  • Reconcile wage reports to period and year end financial results.
  • Calculate and report payroll related accruals for period and year end financials.
  • Update various reports used for management purposes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
