About the Role We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator with strong experience managing U.S. payroll across multiple states and entities. The ideal candidate has worked with large headcounts and is comfortable using systems such as UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), Paylocity, and other leading payroll platforms. This person will be responsible for processing and reconciling payroll cycles, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and partnering closely with HR and accounting teams to maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities Administer end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. employees, including multi-state payrolls and multiple client accounts. Manage high-volume payroll cycles accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and labor regulations. Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies related to wages, deductions, and benefits. Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and seamless payroll-to-ledger integration. Prepare payroll reports for management and audits as needed. Stay current with payroll best practices, technology updates, and regulatory changes. Support onboarding/offboarding processes from a payroll perspective. Qualifications 5+ years of payroll administration experience, with proven exposure to U.S. payroll operations. Hands-on experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and Paylocity; experience with ADP, Paycom, or similar systems is a plus. Experience managing payroll for large headcounts (500+ employees preferred). Solid understanding of U.S. payroll tax, benefits deductions, and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with accounting or back-office outsourcing firms. Exposure to hospitality, real estate, or multi-location businesses.
