ALL ABOUT THE ROLE

A great opportunity to use your payroll experience to add value to our HR Services Team.

You will:

• undertake payroll data entry and payroll maintenance in our ichris system
• assist with weekly and fortnightly payroll processing, to a high level of accuracy. This includes IRD and payroll reporting and reconciliation of journals for processing
• support the Payroll Lead to ensure all the required steps are completed accurately to enable payroll processing to go smoothly
• ensure our payroll system holds up to date and accurate information and that regulatory requirements are met
• provide customer focused support and advice to Council managers and employees
