Description:
As part of the Monarch House team, your role as a Payroll Administrator will involve managing comprehensive payroll tasks and benefits administration, ensuring our team members are supported in every aspect of their financial and wellbeing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll and fielding related questions from staff.
- Audit and verify hourly timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies with managers.
- Monitor and audit all time off requests.
- Process wage adjustments, position changes, new hires, terminations and other payroll-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal payroll tax regulations (BC, AB and ON).
- Maintain ledger for payment of independent contractors.
- Benefits administration, including health and dental; set up for new hires and terminations; monthly audits.
- Administration of employee documentation, approvals, and performance reviews.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of payroll and accounting processes.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel as needed.
