Move Recruitment is currently seeking an efficient Payroll Administrator. Our client is a leading construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional projects.
Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Magherafelt/Toome area
Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience.
Position Overview: As Payroll Administrator, you will support all payroll operations. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization and work alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing payroll for employees, including data entry, calculations, and verification of timesheets
  • Processing subcontractor orders
  • Allocating subcontractors invoices to jobs for approval
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, deductions, and withholdings
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist in generating payroll-related documents
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration or related field
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
