This position is NOT remote, and the candidate must be willing and able to commute to our main office daily. WHAT YOU’LL DO Process and maintain accurate payroll transactions across multiple divisions and companies Prepare and maintain payroll records, employee files, and documentation Ensure confidentiality and integrity of payroll information Process deductions, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and payroll adjustments Assist employees with payroll and timekeeping questions Identify and correct payroll processing issues Prepare weekly payroll reporting and invoicing Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support HR and administrative functions as needed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years of payroll experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of professionalism and discretion Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems Ability to learn HRIS and payroll software quickly Working knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Payroll experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or heavy haul industries Experience with payroll systems such as Paylocity Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged sitting and computer work Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds WHY DHT?
