Our client is a well-established organisation with a reputation for reliability and precision. They’re currently seeking a Payroll Administration Assistant to support the accurate preparation and checking of payroll data, ensuring everything is correct before submission to their external payroll provider.
Please note: strong Excel skills are essential for this role. You’ll be working with spreadsheets daily — using formulas, filters, and manipulating data — so you’ll need to be confident and comfortable in this environment. Full training will be provided on payroll processes, but an eye for detail and proficiency with Excel are non-negotiable.

As a Payroll Administration Assistant, you’ll benefit from:

  • Immediate start with full training provided
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment

  • Reviewing payroll reports to identify and correct discrepancies
  • Working with internal teams to gather and validate information
  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time
  • Supporting general administrative duties relating to payroll

As a Payroll Administration Assistant, your skills and experience will include:

  • Intermediate Excel skills – confident using formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF), filtering data, and formatting spreadsheets
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with large datasets and sensitive information
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach
  • A team-player attitude and willingness to learn new systems

If you’re available to start right away and want to put your Excel skills to good use in a role where accuracy truly matters, apply directly to this advert today or contact Claire at Rubicon for more information.
