- Strong knowledge of Payroll principles and best practices
- Strong analytical skills, outstanding organizational skills and superb attention to detail are a must
- Tact and diplomacy for dealing with internal employee issues - respect for confidentiality a must
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner

- Associate degree or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of work experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with UltiPro UKG
- Degree of Supervision: Minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Process bi-weekly payroll using UltiPro UKG
• Subject matter expert on wage and hour regulations, payroll, federal, state and local tax requirements
• Process payroll adjustments for Warehouse, Exempt and Non-Exempt
• Transfer hours from Workforce Management to CORE
• Create pay data batches for Benefit adjustments, Short Term Disability payments, Terminations and Vacation Payouts, Referral Bonuses, LOA, FMLA, etc.
• Provide backup for the reconciliation from prior to current payroll
• Follow up with missing punches with appropriate supervisors
• Serve as the main point of contact for employees with payroll questions
• Keeping employee payroll records, payroll system and database up to date and accurate
• Support regulatory payroll audit requests as required
• Unemployment Claims and Follow-up
• Assist with New Hire Orientation
• Verifications of Employment
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Payroll Administrator
