Overview Technical Associates is a multi-disciplined, full-service engineering, construction, installation, fabrication and staffing organization. We are currently seeking a Corporate Payroll Administrator for our Albany, Georgia office. Benefits and Work Schedule: · 401(k) Plan Participation/Matching · Dental Insurance · Health Insurance · Life and LTD Insurance · Vision Insurance · Vacation and Holidays · Employee Stock Ownership Plan Responsibilities · Entering and posting timesheets, processing and importing timeclock, processing payroll for multiple states and creating direct deposits/checks. · Processing child support/garnishment payments and support documentation. · Process tax withholdings, tax report filings for withholding and unemployment taxes. · Entering new employees, payroll changes, terminations, and personal information changes in accounting software as well as in benefits portal. · Paying insurance invoices, reconciling invoices and insurance payroll deductions. · Uploading and reconciling 401k deductions/employer matching in 401k portal and payroll system. · Process monthly union dues and fringes and certified payroll reports when needed. · Maintain vacation accrual for salaried and hourly employees. · Process various month end journal entries for insurance, SUI/FUTA, Labor cross-over charges. · Process W2’s and year-end tax filings, uploads. · Verifications of new hire and other employment-related documents. Qualifications · Proven experience in a similar payroll administrator or specialist role. · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll-related software. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently. · Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to interact across departments and organizational levels. · High standards in accuracy, attendance, and employee/vendor/departmental interface skills.
Responsibilities
