Responsibilities
  • Assist with auditing payroll records and the weekly, monthly, and annual payroll accounting processing for a high volume of team members
  • Perform transactional payroll general ledger and accounting functions to ensure company payroll expenses and liabilities are recorded correctly
  • Process transactions and audits including balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry posting, reporting requests, payroll system GL mapping, and costing allocations
  • Field questions from the business regarding payroll entries, analyze results, and then report back to the business
  • Recommend process improvements and control procedures including continuous documentation of processes and controls
