We are looking for a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in payroll systems and tax compliance within the utilities and infrastructure industry.

• Process bi-weekly payroll for a large employee base while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage garnishments, payroll taxes, and multi-state payroll operations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Generate detailed payroll reports for management review and auditing purposes.
• Operate and maintain HRIS payroll systems, particularly PeopleSoft HR and PeopleSoft HRIS.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
• Handle in-house payroll processes for over 500 employees.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to improve payroll workflows and resolve issues.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft HRIS and PeopleSoft HR systems.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations.
• Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states.
• Ability to process bi-weekly payroll efficiently and accurately.
• Expertise in handling garnishments and payroll reconciliations.
• Familiarity with generating payroll tax returns and payroll reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
