Description
Payroll Operations Process end-to-end biweekly and semi-monthly payroll runs according to federal and state wage-and-hour laws. Validate earnings, deductions, taxes, benefit contributions, and final pay. Review payroll inputs from HRIS, Time & Attendance (Workday Time Tracking), and manual adjustments. Reconcile payroll prior to submission and validate output files after processing. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases, enhancements, and integrations. Prepare scheduled and ad hoc payroll reports, including registers, GL files, tax reports, and reconciliation documents. Support HR, Finance, and Tax teams with payroll data for audits, budgeting, and planning. Ensure payroll processing follows federal and state regulations (IRS, DOL, state unemployment agencies, wage-and-hour requirements). Maintain audit documentation and support year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and validation. Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll and implement required updates. Assist with internal and external payroll audits as needed. 3-5 years of U.S. payroll experience, with expertise in full-cycle payroll. Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken). Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, wage regulations, and payroll taxation. Proven experience with multi-state payroll operations. Prior experience with ADP GlobalView highly preferred. Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables). High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and confidentiality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
