R.A.S Logistics looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to process payroll processing and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across multiple states/locations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), FSA/HSA, disability, and other voluntary benefits.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and payroll inquiries.
Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and manage vendor relationships.
Process and reconcile benefit invoices; ensure timely payments.
Maintain payroll and benefits records with confidentiality and accuracy.
Work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Develop and implement payroll and benefits policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit reports for audits, compliance, and internal review. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of payroll and benefits experience, including 2+ years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday) and benefits administration platforms.
Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or related certification preferred
