JOB SUMMARY

The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees. This role involves handling vacation accruals, year-end tax forms, and employee inquiries related to payroll, (ROEs), administer group insurance, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably managing payroll for multiple entities.
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, UKG…) is an asset.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong knowledge of federal and provincial payroll laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual
