Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based. What you will be doing As a Payroll and Benefits Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll and benefits are delivered accurately on time and in line with local requirements in both the UK and the Philippines. Reporting to the HRSS Manager, you will support employees with expert guidance, collaborate closely with HR and Finance colleagues and help maintain a smooth, compliant and people centred service. You will Manage end to end payroll processing with accuracy and consistency across two regions Maintain complete and up to date payroll records including statutory data, bank details, allowances and deductions Respond to employee queries on payroll matters with clarity and professionalism Administer enrolments, updates and removals for a range of employee benefits including healthcare, life insurance and UK based benefits Process government mandated benefits and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities Support statutory reporting, audits and tax related submissions Maintain the benefits portal and assist in exploring new benefit options Build effective relationships with payroll system providers, benefits partners and government agencies Contribute to wider HRSS activities and support firmwide initiatives focused on wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement What we are looking for You will thrive in this role if you bring strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering a reliable and positive service to employees. You should be confident working across two countries regulations, comfortable handling sensitive information and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
