Job Description This role supports the Finance and HR teams by managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee benefits. You’ll be responsible for executing key payroll operations, overseeing compliance requirements (including Prevailing Wage Reporting), and providing support for benefit administration. Success in this role means delivering accurate, on-time payroll and ensuring a seamless benefits experience for employees—all while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. What You’ll Do You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and verification Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies Support Prevailing Wage Reporting and related documentation Oversee timekeeping systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies Perform audits to guarantee payroll data accuracy Collaborate with HR to resolve payroll-related compliance issues Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy Maintain organized, confidential payroll and benefits documentation Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401k, etc.) Support open enrollment and benefit renewals in collaboration with brokers and vendors Ensure benefits compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other laws Educate employees about benefit offerings and help improve benefit communications Qualifications What You Bring You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring: 2–3 years of payroll experience, including exposure to ADP systems Experience with Prevailing Wage Reporting Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word Experience with Procore, Viewpoint Spectrum, and Traqspera software (preferred but not required) Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Understanding of payroll tax laws and regulatory compliance Prior experience with benefits administration is strongly preferred Additional Information Pay Range We believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.
