Description Overture Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our business office team. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting benefit administration and maintaining payroll records. Responsibilities and Duties As the Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will support payroll processing and benefits administration while maintaining accurate financial and employee records. Other duties include: Reviewing employee hours and assisting with payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees Maintaining payroll records, PTO tracking, and benefit allowance documentation Assisting with employee benefits administration and maintaining enrollment records Supporting payroll-related reporting, including deductions, taxes, and insurance premiums Resolving payroll discrepancies and responding to employee payroll inquiries Assisting with financial reporting and documentation for audits Supporting the Controller with general business office functions Providing backup administrative support such as invoicing, deposits, or check processing when needed Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee payroll and benefit information Employee Perks Overture Home Care takes care of our employees and because you do so much, we have several offerings for you including health insurance, vision, and dental with an employer added contribution to your deductions and up to two weeks of Paid Time Off and 5 sick days a year. Requirements High school diploma or GED required At least 2 years of payroll or accounting-related experience Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Comfortable working with payroll systems, accounting software, and office equipment Professional communication skills when working with staff and leadership
